Key to this role is conducting thorough investigations into financial lines claims, particularly Professional Indemnity and Directors and Officers. You will also be responsible for recommending adequate reserves, ensuring timely settlement or closure of claims, maintaining accurate records and documentation of claims, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and resolution of claims.
The Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive investigations into financial lines claims
- Recommend suitable reserves and ensure efficient claim settlement or closure
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of claims
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to achieve successful claim outcomes
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial lines claims management in the insurance industry
- Sound knowledge of the Insurance Contracts Act and ability to apply legal principles to claims management
- Excellent analytical and time management skills
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills
- High proficiency in PC-based systems and applications such as Outlook and Microsoft Word
