Job Summary

The position of Senior Claims Manager is responsible for overseeing the management of commercial property, construction, and engineering claims. You will lead teams in handling large and complex claims, ensuring that performance metrics are accurate and consistently met.

This role requires strong business acumen, leadership abilities, expertise in claims management, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing teams and the ability to manage complex problems efficiently and effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading teams in managing commercial property, construction, and engineering claims.
  • Overseeing large and complex claims and the interactions between suppliers, brokers, and corporate customers.
  • Maintaining and managing relationships with loss adjustors.
  • Ensuring operational and financial performance metrics are accurate and consistently met.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of claims performance drivers and measures.
  • Leadership abilities with a proven track record in managing teams and resolving complex problems.
  • Expertise in claims management, particularly in commercial property, construction, and engineering.
  • Strategic thinking with a good understanding of process innovation and leading change.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
