EML Group, located in Adelaide, South Australia, is seeking a Senior Claims Manager.

The OpportunityWork across Australia in our offices in New South Wales, Victoria, and South Australia. We offer a full-time, permanent role with flexible work-from-home arrangements and a generous relocation allowance for eligible candidates.
Your Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of workers' compensation claims to achieve early and sustainable return-to-work outcomes while controlling claim costs.
- Collaborate with medical professionals, employers, brokers, rehab providers, and other stakeholders to develop effective return-to-work strategies.
- Support injured workers and employers throughout the claim process, managing expectations and facilitating access to necessary services.
- Assess liability and recovery aspects in accordance with legislation and policies, conducting ongoing reviews of entitlements and payments.
- Handle escalations, providing coaching and mentoring to team members.
- Minimum three years of claims management experience within the New Zealand Accident Compensation Scheme.
- Empathetic, resilient, and motivated to deliver customer-centric support.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills.
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
