Speech Pathology Professional Opportunity

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled Speech Pathologist with expertise in assessing and diagnosing swallowing and communication difficulties. You will provide high-quality mobile Speech Pathology services to adults living in residential aged care facilities and the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage your calendar of appointments, ensuring flexibility and work-life balance.
  • Assess and diagnose clients' swallowing and communication difficulties, providing evidence-based interventions.
  • Conduct telehealth-based assessments and interventions as required.
  • Collaborate with the national team of Speech Pathologists, supporting colleagues and promoting best practice.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with organisational staff, support coordinators, and Plena colleagues to ensure optimum care needs are met.

Requirements:

  • Professional qualification in Speech Pathology with active membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transport.
