Project Coordination Role:

We are seeking an experienced project coordinator to join our team. As a project coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and managing projects within the engagement, regulation, and oversight department.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop project plans and oversee contract administration, financial management, reporting, risk management, and support for change management.
  • Provide expert advice and strategic insights to senior decision makers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and maintain accurate records.
  • Require flexibility, systems thinking, project delivery, and innovation.
  • Report to the manager of initiatives.
  • Negotiate with stakeholders and conduct regular reporting.
  • Create project plans with clearly defined objectives and action steps.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in state government is advantageous - VPS 5
  • Strong project management skills and experience in planning, scheduling, and overseeing programs and projects
  • Ability to provide expert advice and insights to senior decision makers
  • Good communication skills to report to senior leaders and prepare high-quality documents and presentations
  • Experience in contract administration, financial management, and risk management
