About the Role

We seek a skilled Automation Professional to join our Maintenance Group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and operationalizing Telemetry, PLC, SCADA, Instrumentation, and Industrial/Automation Communication networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance, repair, and operational functions of Telemetry, PLC, SCADA, Instrumentation, and Industrial/Automation Communication networks
  • Planned and corrective maintenance, condition assessment, fault finding/diagnosis, and rectification of Automation equipment
  • PLC software development utilizing various protocols and programming
  • Additions and modifications to SCADA mimics and database properties
  • Provide technical advice to clients and other electrical staff
  • Repair and maintenance of WAN hardware/Industrial Ethernet systems
  • Assist in the development of Process mapped Work instructions
  • Working knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules
  • Mark-up of electrical drawings to reflect work as constructed
  • Limited High voltage switching, isolation, and planning
  • Perform reasonable overtime from time to time as required

What You'll Need

  • Electrical Trade Qualifications with a current Qualified Supervisor Certificate for Electrical Work
  • Post trade qualifications in Automation, Instrumentation, or a related field
  • Formal competency in PLC, SCADA, Telemetry, or Instrumentation systems
  • Class C Drivers Licence
  • Construction Induction card (White card)
  • A minimum of 4 years demonstrated experience in the Automation field
