Advance Your Career as a Senior Control Systems Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and experiencedSenior Control Systems Engineerto join our dynamic and growing team in Newcastle. This is a fantastic opportunity to take a leading role in delivering innovative automation solutions across a range of complex and rewarding projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage directly with clients to define project requirements and develop clear scopes of work
  • Lead the design, development, implementation, and commissioning of advanced control system solutions
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet high standards of quality, safety, and timeliness
  • Provide expert-level technical support and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
  • Promote and contribute to a culture focused on health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ)

What You Bring:

  • A minimum of five years' demonstrated experience in control systems engineering within water/wastewater, mining or heavy industrial environments
  • Strong client engagement skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
  • Proven experience with control systems, automation platforms, and industrial communication networks
  • A current Australian driver's licence

Preferred Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in programming and commissioning control systems
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • A proactive, safety-conscious mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
