We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team in Newcastle. This is a fantastic opportunity to take a leading role in delivering innovative automation solutions across a range of complex and rewarding projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Engage directly with clients to define project requirements and develop clear scopes of work
- Lead the design, development, implementation, and commissioning of advanced control system solutions
- Ensure all project deliverables meet high standards of quality, safety, and timeliness
- Provide expert-level technical support and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Promote and contribute to a culture focused on health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ)
- A minimum of five years' demonstrated experience in control systems engineering within water/wastewater, mining or heavy industrial environments
- Strong client engagement skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
- Proven experience with control systems, automation platforms, and industrial communication networks
- A current Australian driver's licence
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in programming and commissioning control systems
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
- A proactive, safety-conscious mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
