About This Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Architect to design, manage and maintain internet gateway and large scale data center networking environments.

  • This is a mid-senior level contract role that requires at least five (5) years of demonstrated experience in designing and managing complex network systems.

The successful candidate will have technical proficiency in designing services utilizing F5/Blue Coat Layer 4-7 switching/load balancing and proxy systems, as well as experience with Cisco Data Centre technologies like Cisco ACI, Cisco Routers, nexus switches, routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.

  • Demonstrated experience with Palo Alto firewalls and IPS Solutions is also required.
  • The ideal candidate will also have experience in designing and implementing VPN technologies, email and DNS (Infoblox) Solutions, as well as hybrid and public cloud services.
  • A strong understanding of Australian Government information security policies, the ASD Information Security Manual and Essential Eight is necessary.

Full working rights in Australia and NV1 Clearance are mandatory for this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, manage and maintain internet gateway and/or large scale data center networking environments.
  • Develop and maintain system architecture and design documentation.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • At least five (5) years of demonstrated experience in designing, managing and maintaining internet gateway and/or large scale data center networking environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications in relevant areas such as CCIE or PMP.
