Job Title

We are seeking a seasoned network architect to oversee the development and maintenance of robust internet gateways and data centre networking environments.

The ideal candidate will design, implement, and manage infrastructure solutions that support critical government services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and evaluate infrastructure requirements to meet future demand.
  • Provide expert technical guidance for project build, test, and deployment activities.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, including design and implementation plans.
  • Advise senior executives on technical and strategic ICT matters.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers, sharing expertise and knowledge.
  • Research emerging technologies and provide recommendations for adoption.
  • Engage with other agencies and service providers to enhance service delivery.
  • Manage operations including backups, high availability, and disaster recovery.
  • Oversee maintenance of patches, support packages, and network administration.
Essential Criteria
  • Minimum five (5) years' experience in the design, management, and maintenance of internet gateways and/or large-scale data centre networking environments.
Technical Skills
  • Cisco ACI, Routers, Nexus switches, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
  • Palo Alto firewalls and IPS solutions.
  • VPN, DNS (Infoblox), email solutions.
  • Hybrid and public cloud environments.
