Power Generation Rental Solutions Manager

A Power Generation Rental Solutions Manager oversees the coordination, execution, and management of temporary power generation rental solutions. This leadership role ensures the safe and efficient delivery, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of rental equipment in field environments such as construction sites, events, utility outages, or emergency deployments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of field delivery operations for power generation rental equipment, including generators, transformers, load banks, and associated electrical distribution gear.
  • Lead, schedule, and support a team of field technicians to ensure reliable and on-time installation and setup of power solutions.
  • Collaborate with sales, logistics, and service teams to plan and deliver tailored customer solutions.
  • Conduct site assessments, determine appropriate equipment sizing and configurations, and oversee field installations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during transportation, setup, and operation.
  • Manage inventory and readiness of equipment, tools, and vehicles required for field operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues onsite, providing guidance and escalation support.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, service activities, and customer interactions using service management software.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in power generation, electrical distribution, or equipment rental services.
  • Proven leadership experience in field service operations or project management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of diesel and natural gas generators, load banks, hv transformers, and temporary power systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, single-lines, and site plans.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with QHSE, and environmental regulations.
  • Proficiency with service scheduling and fleet management software.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power generation and electrical distribution, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
