**About this role**:

The Policy and Project Officer plays a crucial part in the Operations and Strategic Communications team, responsible for developing and reviewing strategic and operational policies. This involves coordinating project support and implementation, as well as monitoring policy implications related to international education.

Key responsibilities include taking responsibility for discrete complex projects, assisting with major projects, establishing and maintaining key internal and external stakeholder relationships, and coordinating administrative processes and information systems.

This role requires the ability to review current work practices and processes, and make recommendations for improved efficiency and service delivery.

**Additional requirements:**

  • Successful applicants will be required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check;
  • Incumbents will be required to undertake RRHAN-EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course.
