Water Policy Advisor

We are seeking a skilled Water Policy Advisor to join our team in the Murray-Darling Basin. As a key member of our policy unit, you will contribute to the development and implementation of water policies that ensure the sustainable future of our rivers, wetlands, and groundwaters.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement water policy advice for the Murray-Darling Basin
- Contribute to the development of strategic policy initiatives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve policy goals
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Essential Requirements:
- Relevant experience in water policy or management
- Knowledge of Commonwealth and state water policy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Desirable Qualifications:
- Qualifications in water resource policy/management, environmental science, natural resource management, law, environmental/resource economics, science or public policy
