Clinical Lead in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine

The Respiratory Specialist plays a pivotal role in providing high-quality patient care and leading a multidisciplinary team.
This position demands clinical expertise, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to quality improvement. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering specialty care, mentoring junior staff, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical care to patients and manage the associated multidisciplinary patient care team to ensure appropriate care.
- Offer professional leadership within the specialist medical area and provide training, education, and supervision to junior medical staff and other healthcare members.
- Clinical expertise in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine.
- Commitment to quality improvement, including initiatives related to research, risk service evaluation, and strategic service delivery planning.
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians or equivalent and eligibility for Specialist Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- Vaccination against certain vaccine-preventable diseases.
