Job Title: Clinical Lead Specialist

We are seeking an exceptional clinical lead to join our team and take on a key leadership role in our Respiratory and Sleep unit.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while promoting a positive work environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve effective team functioning and positive patient outcomes, and liaising with other medical teams and professional streams to ensure seamless care.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert clinical guidance and support to patients and colleagues
  • Develop and implement effective clinical pathways and procedures to optimize patient recovery
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve effective team functioning and positive patient outcomes
  • Liaise with other medical teams and professional streams to ensure seamless care
Mandatory Qualifications:
  • MBBS, MD or equivalent registrable with the Medical Board of Australia
  • RACP or equivalent acceptable to the Royal Australian College of Physicians and registration (or eligibility for registration) as a specialist with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Specialist qualification in both Sleep Medicine and Respiratory Medicine
