Our organization seeks a diligent Housekeeping professional to perform thorough cleaning tasks in common areas and resident rooms. Key responsibilities include:
- Cleaning lobbies, hallways, and stairwells;
- Maintaining cleanliness of kitchens and bathrooms by sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces;
- Cleanliness and organization of vacant rooms for incoming residents;
- Collecting refuse from residents' rooms and adhering to set waste disposal procedures;
- Restocking housekeeping carts and notifying supervisors when supplies are low.
The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent education and demonstrate a strong commitment to efficiency and customer service. Additionally, they should be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers, work independently with minimal supervision, and safely operate chemical cleaning agents and equipment. A clear criminal record and Vulnerable Sector check, as well as current First Aid and CPR certification, are also required. Advanced proficiency in the English language is essential, with proficiency in French considered an asset.
