Main Responsibilities:

  • To prepare and cook meals for patients, staff and visitors.
  • To maintain high standards of food safety and quality.
  • To work effectively as part of a team to achieve departmental objectives.
  • To provide exceptional customer service.
Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • A current Food Handlers Certificate HLTFSE - 001.
  • Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, preferably in a hospital or aged care setting.
  • Demonstrated understanding of food safety standards and OH&S practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete Food Safety Documentation.
