Role Summary:

The Intensive Care Unit requires a skilled medical professional to deliver high-quality patient care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate patient admissions, management, and discharges within the ICU setting.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of patient information and medical records.
  • Assess and manage patients in the ICU, communicating effectively with families and other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless care and effective handover of patients.
  • Work autonomously with some supervision from Specialists in ICU.
  • Document patient care to meet medico-legal standards.
  • Work 80 hours per fortnight, including evening, weekend, and night shifts.
  • Participate in continuing medical education and quality assurance activities.
  • Provide support and supervision to junior medical officers.
  • Contribute to teaching and learning activities for medical students.
  • Support initiatives promoting quality and clinical practice improvement.
