Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Budget Analyst. As a key member of the Faculty Operations, you will play a crucial role in preparing budgets and financial management documentation across various business units and projects.
The successful candidate will contribute to budgeting, forecasting, reporting, monitoring and analysis of accounts, reconciliations and journal entries. You will collaborate with staff within the Finance Operations Department to provide timely, accurate and high-quality advice to academic and professional staff and management, enabling them to make informed financial and resource decisions.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a collegiate and high-performing team, delivering high-level administrative support and developing trusted working relationships.
To succeed in this position, you will need to demonstrate extensive experience in the management of financial accounts, budgets and forecasts, as well as maintenance of accurate financial statements and records.
You will also require strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and integrate information from multiple sources to enable accurate and strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have high-level written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to quickly establish rapport and manage collaborative working relationships, engage with a diverse client group and work effectively in a high-performing team.
Furthermore, you will possess advanced digital literacy skills, including the ability to successfully use spreadsheets and accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage budgets and financial management documentation

Requirements:
- Degree in a related discipline
- Extensive experience in financial administration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High-level written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced digital literacy skills
