We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team at Weecare Daycare as a Child Care Assistant Director.

About the Role:

The Child Care Assistant Director will play a critical role in supporting the Center Director in overseeing all operations within the child care center. This includes maintaining compliance with state licensing requirements, overseeing the implementation of the CACFP food program, and ensuring accurate family and employee required paperwork and database management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management: Assist the Center Director in overseeing all operations within the child care center, including staff supervision, budget management, and facility maintenance.
  • Licensing and Compliance: Maintain compliance with state licensing requirements, including regular inspections and audits.
  • Program Implementation: Oversee the implementation of the CACFP food program, ensuring that all meals and snacks meet state and federal regulations.
  • Staff Development: Provide ongoing training and support to staff members, including orientation and professional development opportunities.
  • Family and Community Engagement: Establish positive relationships with families and provide community resources for families in need of support.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential records of family and employee information, including attendance, billing, and personnel files.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in child care management, including experience with state licensing requirements and CACFP food programs.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
