Senior Government Relations Advisor

About the Role
The Senior Advisor, Government Relations role is a key position within the national Corporate Affairs team at NBN Co. The purpose of this role is to lead and manage engagements between NBN Co and Shareholder Ministers, Members of Parliament, Senators, and associated stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with Shareholder Ministers and offices
- Develop and implement effective Government Relations strategies and engagement plans
- Identify and develop key strategic initiatives to achieve NBN Co's purpose
- Manage relationships with key internal business partners within NBN Co
- Understand the policy environment to achieve NBN Co's objectives
About You
If you have experience in a community engagement or ministerial office role, or in a similar government or corporate government engagement role, with demonstrated experience working with high-level federal or state government stakeholders, this could be the role for you.
You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and respond to a range of stakeholders at all levels.
