Job Overview

The UI/UX Designer plays a vital role in shaping the user experience and information architecture of our evolving product. Their responsibilities include conceptualizing original ideas, creating wireframes, storyboards, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.

This is a 12-month contract that can be extended for another 12 months. While preference is given to those based in Canberra or Brisbane, we are open to considering other locations in Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex design challenges
  • Create engaging user experiences through effective communication of interaction and design ideas
  • Presentation and advocacy of user-friendly designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
  • Experience in using wireframing/prototyping tools such as Adobe XD and Figma
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • UI/UX designer experience with a focus on simplicity and user friendliness
  • Proficiency in using Adobe XD, Figma, or equivalent tools
  • Conducting testing of prototypes with users and capturing insights and feedback
  • Solid understanding of accessible design principles and experience in designing to meet WCAG guidelines, including AA Compliance
  • Agile software development and project delivery expertise
