Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Planning Superintendent to oversee the maintenance and reliability of our mine's equipment. This critical leadership role is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement short, medium, and long-term maintenance plans to optimize equipment availability and reliability.
  • Ensure work management processes align with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate shutdown planning to meet production, cost, and safety objectives.
  • Lead the development and implementation of reliability improvement strategies for mobile and fixed assets.
  • Oversee defect elimination, root cause analysis, and condition monitoring programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Reliability Engineering, or equivalent trade background with significant maintenance planning/reliability leadership experience.
  • Wealth of experience in open cut mining and plant environments.
  • Minimum 8–10 years' experience in maintenance, planning, or reliability roles, ideally within the mining or heavy industry sector.
  • Strong knowledge of Queensland mining legislation, asset management frameworks, and maintenance strategies.
  • Proficiency in SAP and reliability analysis tools.
