Job Opportunity

We are currently seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Site Services Personnel at our Coppabella Moorvale Joint Venture (CMJV) Mine.

The CMJV mine complex consists of two open-cut mine operations located approximately 140 kilometres southwest of Mackay, producing premium low-volatile pulverized coal (LV-PCI) for export markets, with an extension of an additional pit at Moorvale South.

About the Role:

This position plays a vital role in maintaining site safety and efficiency. As a Site Services Personnel, you will be responsible for various tasks including building maintenance and repairs, domestic-style plumbing maintenance, groundskeeping, general facilities maintenance, services installs, trenching, excavation, and site access road maintenance and repairs.

Lifestyle:

This position offers a 7 Days On and 7 Days Off (Day only) roster and can allow for a residential (Moranbah or Nebo), DIDO, or salary-sacrificed FIFO lifestyle. Employees living residentially may have access to a housing allowance.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Site Service Person or in a similar role (Carpenter or Plumber)
  • Trade qualification in plumbing or carpentry (mandatory)
  • Experience operating civil/ancillary equipment
  • A proactive approach to safety and quality in the workplace

You will also need to be qualified and competent in operating the following highly regarded equipment:

  • Backhoes
  • Loaders
  • Graders
