Reliable Fresh Produce Maintenance Technician

We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Fitter to maintain, repair, and improve machinery and equipment in a fresh produce packing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Service and repair machinery and equipment used in the packing shed
  2. Monitor water treatment and chemical dosing systems
  3. Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance tasks
  4. Operate forklifts and assist in operator training
  5. Carry out general site maintenance such as mowing, fencing, and pest control
  6. Maintain accurate records and follow WHS and hygiene procedures

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 3 years' relevant experience
  • Relevant trade qualification
  • Skills in welding, fabrication, and mechanical systems
  • Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
  • Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
  • QLD driver's licence (or willingness to obtain)
  • Chemical Accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
