Reliability and Maintenance Specialist

Our organization is seeking a skilled Reliability and Maintenance Specialist to join our team.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for assisting experienced technicians with equipment condition inspections on industrial sites. This role provides an opportunity to develop expertise in using advanced testing technologies, including ECA (Eddy Current Array) and UT (Ultrasonic Testing).
Key Responsibilities- Assist technicians with conducting equipment condition inspections
- Gain experience with ECA and UT testing
- Complete competency and qualification training modules
- Ensure equipment setup, calibration, and functionality for each inspection
- Perform housekeeping and equipment cleaning duties
- Carry out general maintenance tasks as instructed by qualified trades
- Prepare post-site visit reports, time sheets, and expenses
- Mechanical background and aptitude with experience using power and hand tools
- Commitment to developing a career in the industry
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Capacity to undertake repetitive work while maintaining high attention to detail
- Effective communication skills both verbally and written
- Positive approach to safety
- Ability to travel to remote areas for periods of time at short notice
- Working at heights and confined space tickets desirable
