Engineering and Reliability Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering and Reliability Manager to lead our Engineering Team and drive efficiency in areas of safety, asset care, machine uptime, and reduction in unplanned stops.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and direct all production and packing activities for the assigned value stream
  • Meet and exceed established KPIs, including OEE, giveaway, absenteeism, and attainment to plan
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce waste and improve manufacturing standards
  • Optimize production scheduling in collaboration with Operations Manager and Production Planner
  • Drive a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with OH&S regulations
  • Actively participate in the NPD process and support the manufacturing of new products
  • Coach and support employees to develop collaborative working relationships with all stakeholder functions
  • Manage team's time and attendance, payroll, and leave in line with company policies
  • Ensure accurate reporting of operating data and maintenance requirements
  • Attend operations meetings and promote operating performance and support requirements
Requirements:
  • Trade qualification in a relevant discipline
  • Previous experience in high-tempo, on-demand production within FMCG food manufacturing
  • Understanding of quality and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with PM systems
  • Proven background leading production groups with the ability to drive change
  • Strong understanding and appreciation of safety
  • Energetic and driven with potential for growth in senior leadership positions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
