About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Principal to join our team at Pacific National. As a key member of our maintenance and reliability team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in Failure Mode, Effect and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM) and Condition Monitoring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide frontline support to Maintenance Execution teams on reliability investigations
  • Develop reliability improvement scopes of work and programmes for improvement to fleet performance
  • Monitor in-service incidents across the business to identify, classify, trend and report on reliability incidents
  • Key reference for leading practices in utilising condition monitoring processes to improve efficiencies and safety
About You

To be successful in this role, you'll need to demonstrate a solid Engineering background in rail or other heavy industry. High-level communication ability is essential, with verbal, written and interpersonal skills integral to success in this role. You will need to demonstrate proven relationship management strengths, with clear evidence of your ability to build successful stakeholder relationships.

In addition, you'll be expected to demonstrate:

  • Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical or Condition Monitoring-related Engineering or other relevant discipline and or;
  • Proven industry experience in maintenance and reliability engineering and/or condition monitoring of equipment.
  • Demonstrated experience in the application of FMECA, RCM and Condition Monitoring; and
  • Background in heavy industry, transport, rail, avionics, or other related industries essential.
