Reliability Analyst Job Description

Virgin Australia is seeking a skilled Reliability Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of our reliability program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the continuous review and analysis of aircraft data to maintain and improve the reliability program.
  • Develop and implement reports and analysis methods to determine the reliability of components, equipment, and processes.
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance aircraft fleet performance and deliver dispatch reliability targets.
  • Collaborate with digital platforms to leverage data services and create customized analytics tools and dashboards.
  • Manage reliability databases and review analysis to validate and update performance alerts.
  • Assess delays and cancellations to identify chronic ATA faults and allocate Tech Chargeable delays to the respective ATA.
Requirements:
  • Aircraft engineer license or qualification in aviation maintenance management at least at diploma level or equivalent.
  • Relevant work experience in an Airline Engineering role for aircraft of the same or similar type as those operated by Virgin Australia.
  • Advanced computer and data analysis skills, with experience in Trax Operating Systems (EMS) an advantage.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance regulations and standards applicable to the aircraft maintenance programs and reliability programs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
