Policy Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Policy Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our policy development team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the enrolment policy landscape for public schools.

Your responsibilities will include developing and delivering a comprehensive reform program to achieve strategic goals, ensuring policy integrity and coherence with governing legislation.

This involves extensive collaboration with various areas of the Directorate, as well as school Principals and Business Managers. Strong communication and project management skills are essential to drive effective change.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with experience in policy development and implementation.

You will have opportunities to develop your skills and expertise in policy development and implementation, working effectively in a collaborative environment and adapting to changing priorities.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with governing legislation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver a comprehensive reform program
  • Provide training and advice to school staff on implementing enrolment policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the development of content for website and informational materials
