Easy Authoring is seeking an experienced Policy Officer to provide enterprise security advice and policy, risk analysis and project support.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Aim is to provide enterprise security advice and policy, risk analysis and project support, to enable services and protect people, information, and assets
- Managing the development and implementation of a range of security strategy and policy initiatives, as well as monitoring progress against prescribed standards and metrics.
- Support various managers and project leads, undertaking research and providing analysis and advice on policy and strategic implications of specific matters.
- This includes the preparation of briefs and correspondence, while maintaining close liaison and effective relationships with other divisions, business units and departments.

**Essential criteria**:

- Proven experience in similar Policy Officer role
- An applicant will hold a tertiary qualification in a related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience (a qualification in security risk management or risk management is desirable).
- They will have had exposure to security functions in complex operating environments including liaison with state, national and internal security, and intelligence communities.
- The applicant will be able to demonstrate advanced policy development experience or experience relating to protective security implementation and governance.
