About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team at St Vincent's Care Services. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including grooming, showering, mobility, meals, toileting, and social activities
  • Assist residents with daily living tasks, such as dressing, bathing, and using the bathroom
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in care planning and implementation, ensuring resident-centered care
  • Contribute to a safe and respectful environment, promoting dignity and well-being for all residents

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or similar qualification
  • Experience in an aged care environment, preferably in a residential setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing high-quality care and support
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role
