Linux Engineer: A Permanent Role in Enterprise-Scale Environments

Job Overview:
The client is seeking an experienced Linux Engineer to administer RedHat Enterprise Linux servers in large-scale environments for a permanent role. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing advanced administration, support, and troubleshooting services. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide advanced administration, support, and troubleshooting services
• Install, configure, and upgrade infrastructure as needed
• Consult with the team to provide technical expertise and guidance
• Monitor system performance and reliability to identify areas for improvement
• Support the team through technical deployments and system migrations

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven enterprise-scale experience with administering Redhat Enterprise Linux servers
• Knowledge of Windows/VMware environments is advantageous
• Experience working with network infrastructure environments (switching, routing)
• Knowledge of ITIL framework / Service Management tools
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement ability
• Relevant certifications / education are highly regarded
