About the Rail Operations Role
">The primary objective of this position is to manage rail operations and planning in a safe, efficient, and environmentally sensitive manner.
">This involves close customer consultation and implementing, monitoring, and reporting of rail services and train operations in accordance with company requirements.
">Responsibilities include leading and embedding a safety culture, mentoring employee consultation programs, and developing compliance plans. Additionally, tasks involve creating weekly schedules, managing QUBE CONNECT, and reviewing resource allocations.
">Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for success in this role, along with reliability, teamwork, and a can-do attitude. Commercial acumen and customer service skills are also required.

">Operational Leadership:

- Create weekly schedule in conjunction with customer requirements">
- Path and amend all services to align with program">
- Manage QUBE CONNECT for loading of services and ensure data integrity">
- Maximize service capacity and locomotive utilization">
- Influence teams responsible for train services and resources in a live run environment">
Financial Management:

- Implement financial plans to ensure quality, efficiency, and costs of rail operations">
- Manage revenue and cost to meet or exceed business plan targets">
Customer Service:

- Ensure customer needs are met and expectations exceeded on a day-to-day basis">
- Lead customer business review processes, frequency, and scope as agreed with each customer">
- Provide exceptional internal and external customer service">
Key Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years experience in rail operations">
