We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated dental assistant to join our team.
Job Description:
As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental facility. You will be responsible for liaising with patients to ensure their needs are met and they feel comfortable throughout their dental experience.
You will also facilitate administrative tasks, including coordinating patient appointments and managing dental stock and supplies. Additionally, you will prepare the dental chair and treatment area for dental procedures, ensuring all necessary materials and equipment are readily available.
Other key responsibilities include recording information as requested by the clinician on patient records during dental examinations, assisting clinicians during dental procedures, preparing and reprocessing dental instruments, and developing x-rays as required.
Requirements:
- Prior dental experience is desirable but not essential.
- Able to establish rapport with patients and communicate effectively.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask.
- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
