Operational Risk Specialist

This is a key role in the Enterprise Services division, responsible for identifying and managing operational risks.

The Operational Risk Specialist will be accountable for ensuring the effectiveness, compliance, and integrity of activities across Customer Care, Technology, and Marketing business units.

  • Undertake assurance activities and provide insights to governance forums.
  • Maintain risk registers and profiles, including risk identification and resolution of self-identified, internal, and external audit issues.
  • Partner with Senior Managers to ensure business risks are identified and managed.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent knowledge.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in finance, with a solid understanding of core processes and compliance principles within banking or financial services.
  • 3+ years' experience in Operational Risk Management, Internal Audit, or Quality Assurance practices and programs.
