We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Nurse to join our dynamic team as an Admit/Discharge Nurse. This vital role is perfect for a caring and communicative RVN who is passionate about patient care and client support.
Key Responsibilities:- Patient Admissions: Admit cases, meeting with clients and patients upon arrival to discuss upcoming procedures, ensuring all necessary preparations are completed smoothly and in line with company SOPs.
- Discharge Support: Guide clients through patient care plans during discharge, including medication instructions, rehabilitation techniques, and aftercare details, addressing any questions to ensure they feel confident managing care at home.
- Client Communication: Act as a compassionate point of contact, keeping clients informed on patient treatments and progress, and responding to questions about their pet's care while in hospital.
- You must be an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse.
- This role will suit a confident nurse with the ability to coordinate the flow of patients into and out of the hospital from all disciplines.
- We are looking for a dynamic individual with high attention to detail and an empathetic approach to patient care.
- You should possess the confidence to take initiative and actively contribute to the care of our patients.
- An interest in client liaison and wards nursing is essential.
- Previous experience in a referral practice is beneficial.
- A competitive base salary up to £30,000 DOE.
