Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to contribute to a dynamic global organization. This role offers the opportunity to enhance your knowledge of ASX reporting while engaging in a diverse range of responsibilities within a thriving business environment.

Role Responsibilities

As a Financial Accountant, you will report directly to an accomplished Financial Controller and undertake various critical tasks, including:

  • Supporting ASX reporting initiatives
  • Assisting in the preparation and dissemination of monthly management reports
  • Conducting balance sheet reconciliations
  • Participating in month-end and year-end reporting processes
  • Contributing to both internal and external audit activities
  • Managing group reporting requirements, including consolidations
  • Engaging in process enhancement projects
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders for effective business partnering

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be driven and eager to expand their responsibilities over time. We are looking for individuals who possess:

  • Professional qualifications or are nearing completion (e.g., CA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA, etc.)
  • Experience in an ASX environment or a reputable chartered firm with complex client engagements
  • Demonstrated involvement in process improvement initiatives
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with stakeholders

This position is also open to those transitioning from a Chartered Accounting firm.
