Job Description:

We are looking for an exceptional Facility Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our industrial, retail, and commercial assets.

  • Negotiate contracts with service providers to ensure seamless operations
  • Provide comprehensive training and inductions for all service providers to guarantee they meet the required standards
  • Develop and maintain administrative policies and processes to optimize efficiency
  • Ensure facilities meet strict safety regulations, adhering to OH&S and ESM guidelines
  • Oversee the upkeep of equipment and supplies to prevent any disruptions in service
  • Determine and schedule repairs and maintenance to minimize downtime
  • Coordinate regular safety inspections and run fire drills to ensure preparedness
  • Maximize space usage through effective planning and coordination
  • Manage site renovations to ensure smooth transitions

To succeed in this role, you should have extensive experience in Maintenance or Facilities management, accompanied by strong organizational skills, a proactive nature, outgoing and personable personality, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

This is a full-time position requiring regular attendance at our office located in South Melbourne.
