About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Shift Operations Allocator to join our team at Lindsay Australia Ltd.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating freight and deliveries, managing the warehouse floor, and overseeing the allocation of services and equipment to maximize efficiency and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate freight and deliveries to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods
  • Manage the warehouse floor, including forklift drivers and stock on site, to ensure smooth operations
  • Lead staff by example and provide guidance and support to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with fatigue, mass, and maintenance requirements
  • Ensure the safe conduct of operations in the workplace and maintain a safe working environment
  • Plan and build loads in line with customer requirements to meet their needs
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and customers
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of metropolitan and regional freight networks to ensure efficient transportation of goods
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends, as required
