Project Coordinator Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.


Key responsibilities include reviewing sales job files, developing and implementing project execution plans, and mitigating changes in the project risk profile.


The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and quality strategies, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


They will also possess relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering and/or project management, with at least fifteen years' experience in managing complex process plant projects.


This is an opportunity for a seasoned project manager to take on a new challenge and lead cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.



Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement detailed project execution plans.
  • Review sales job files and develop mitigation strategies for identified risks.
  • Implement engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and quality strategies based on contractual requirements and company procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and IMS requirements.
  • Promptly report critical risks to senior management.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering and/or project management.
  • At least fifteen years' experience in managing complex process plant projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
