Project Coordinator Role

Homes NSW is a division of the Department of Communities and Justice, bringing together various government housing and homelessness functions.

The role involves project management and support activities to contribute to the development and delivery of projects within established objectives.

You will be part of a collegiate team delivering services such as complex commercial projects and managing Housing Australia Future Fund projects for Homes NSW.

  • Provide project management and support services including preparation of reports and briefs, resource coordination, and project documentation maintenance.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation for reporting and evaluation purposes.
  • Identify and interpret relevant statutory provisions and prepare clear procedures for staff.
  • Evaluate operational policy and procedures to assess appropriateness and effectiveness.
  • Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups and consultations.

The successful candidate will have strong project management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
