We are seeking a seasoned HR professional to lead the HR function at one of our key operations. This is a career-defining opportunity for a strategic and people-focused leader with experience in blue-collar or mining environments.

About the Role

You will play a pivotal role in driving cultural initiatives, embedding best practice HR, and ensuring alignment with business strategy. We require an experienced HR manager to strategically partner with site leadership to deliver HR solutions that support operational goals.

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, frameworks, and metrics that drive performance and accountability.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing HR team to ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and internal HR standards.
  • Drive culture and engagement initiatives aligned to our core values by building strong relationships with senior leaders and their teams.
  • Oversee ER/IR matters, including Enterprise Agreement negotiations and union engagement to ensure smooth operations.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years' experience in a senior HR role, ideally in mining, construction, manufacturing, or other heavy industries.
  • Strong ER/IR expertise, including enterprise bargaining and union interaction.
  • Proven leadership experience – able to coach, mentor and drive performance in teams.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A strategic mindset with hands-on operational execution.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a results-driven approach.
