The role of Fundraising Specialist presents an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional to contribute to the growth and development of Mercy Health's fundraising initiatives.
This senior position will be responsible for developing and implementing best practice fundraising and engagement strategies that promote the Mercy Health brand, deepen stakeholder relationships, inspire philanthropic giving, and drive social change.
The successful candidate will lead the design and implementation of integrated strategies to increase visibility of fundraising initiatives, grow the donor pipeline, and steward relationships with existing confirmed bequestors.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to promote the Mercy Health brand and foster deep stakeholder relationships.
- Enhance visibility of fundraising initiatives and develop strategies to secure future revenue growth through various giving programs.
- Steward relationships with existing confirmed bequestors to ensure long-term partnership success.
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as business, marketing, or communications.
- Significant experience in a senior fundraising capacity, preferably within a healthcare environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels.
- A genuine passion for working in a healthcare setting and inspiring others to support Mercy Health's causes.
