Role Overview

KeyBank seeks an accomplished writer to create engaging client communications, supporting our retention strategy.

Job Responsibilities
  • Craft clear, concise copy for servicing and maintenance of client accounts.
  • Tailor writing for various channels, presenting complex information clearly while maintaining brand voice.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on projects and consult with subject-matter experts for accurate descriptions.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or public relations.
  • 5+ years' experience writing for the banking or financial services industry is preferred.
  • Writing samples demonstrating expertise in the field.
  • Familiarity with AP style and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Teams, and web-based work and project management systems.
Additional Requirements
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to receive feedback constructively.
  • Self-motivation and effective time management.

Compensation and Benefits

Eligibility for a base salary range of $80,000 - $90,000 annually, dependent on factors like level of experience. Additional benefits include short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation based on individual and company performance.
