Video Specialist Job

We are seeking a skilled Video Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and editing engaging video content, coordinating video projects from start to finish, and identifying new opportunities for video marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and create a diverse library of videos and campaigns, including instructional and promotional content.
  • Coordinate video project planning, storyboarding, A/V setup, recording, editing, and publishing.
  • Identify and develop new video projects to advance program and facility marketing efforts.
  • Project management and facilitation.
  • Assist in marketing support and outreach activities as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other Marketing staff to increase efficiencies.
  • Continual work to build understanding of the brand and uphold its standards and guidelines.
  • Demonstrate strong professional communication skills.
  • Work to integrate video into social media presence via creative ideas.
  • Take an active role in facility initiatives outside of the Marketing department.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience and intermediate skill level with all aspects of video production.
  • Intermediate competence with iMovie video production and editing software.
  • Preferred intermediate competence with Premiere Pro video production and editing software.
  • CPR/AED and First Aid certification (provided).
  • Open, effective, and all-around exemplary communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new skills and tools.

Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Video Editing Software.
  • Microsoft Office suite.
  • Marketing principles and analysis.

Physical Demands:

  • Sitting at desk or table for at least 70% of the work day.
  • Walking or working with facilities 30% of the work day.
  • Repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement while operating computer equipment.
  • Occasional bending, stooping.
  • Eye-hand coordination.
  • Hearing and talking.
