We are seeking skilled professionals to join our team as Mechanical Equipment Assemblers. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and assembly of mechanical equipment prior to installation, including identification of equipment with corresponding installation locations and laser alignments on rotating equipment.

About the Role

The role involves executing work according to comprehensive procedures in conjunction with adhering to work instructions as defined in work packs and job cards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical trade and have experience working at heights and operating heavy machinery.

  • Assemble and install mechanical equipment, ensuring all components are properly aligned and secured.
  • Identify and label equipment with corresponding installation locations, ensuring clear communication with team members and supervisors.
  • Perform laser alignments on rotating equipment, including pumps, power generation, and compression packages.
  • Remove and reinstall pumps, valves, and associated equipment, incorporating flange management duties.
  • Conduct inspection test records (ITR's) and inspection test plans (ITP's), ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications / Required Experience
  • Mechanical Trade Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Working at Heights certification.
  • Construction White/Blue Card.
  • Australian 'C' Class Driver's Licence.
  • High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (desired).
  • High Risk Work Licence – EWP (desired).
