Full Time Field Based Role

We are looking for mechanically minded individuals to play a significant role in our company's growth and success by delivering quality service to our customers through scheduled maintenance and safety & function checks.

What you will do:

  • Service and repair of material handling equipment within a dedicated territory and customer base, helping build positive customer experiences.
  • Utilize the latest mobile technology to manage your daily work schedule.
  • Manage inventory on your company-provided service van and at customer sites, delivering professional service.
  • Gain experience working with Australia's top-tier customer base.
  • Join Australia's leading forklift service provider.
  • Participate in an 8-week onboarding and industry-leading training program.
  • Perform routine maintenance and complete service work, both reactive and planned.
  • Maintain accurate service records of your work.

Typical Tasks and Duties:

  • Conduct scheduled and breakdown services with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in preparing quotes for customers.
  • Record and file service notes accurately.
  • Participate in training and development, including training less experienced technicians.
  • Stay updated on technological advancements, including automation and telematics.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, new products, and services.
  • Partner with the company to maximize sales and service opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience as a forklift mechanic or service technician is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to perform scheduled maintenance, safety checks, and repairs.
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
