Assembly Mechanic

At our facility, we manufacture essential equipment for various industries. We're seeking a skilled Assembly Mechanic to join our team and contribute to the production of high-quality products.

As an Assembly Mechanic, you'll work on assembling and testing valves and control systems, preparing them for real-world use. You'll collaborate with a team that values precision, safety, and efficiency.

  • Assemble different types of valves and flow control equipment.
  • Fit and test manual and automated valves, actuators, and pump systems.
  • Follow detailed instructions, drawings, and quality plans to ensure top performance.
  • Operate tools and machines for grinding, painting, packing, and more.
  • Report any issues to your supervisor to maintain smooth operations.
  • Keep accurate records of product condition and assembly steps.
  • Handle parts and inventory with care to maintain stock accuracy.

Requirements:

You will need:

  • A Trade Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly or valve repair.
  • Familiarity with Quality Assurance and Health & Safety procedures.
  • Training in manual handling.
  • Possession of a forklift license, first aid certification, valid driver's license, and a dogging ticket or VOC.
