Job Title: Regulatory Compliance Officer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Officer to play a key role in our organization's regulatory governance framework. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining in-depth knowledge of legislative interpretations and their application, as well as managing and implementing regulatory policies, frameworks, and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislative interpretations and their implications for regulatory governance, operational processes, and organizational decision-making
  • Develop, implement, and maintain regulatory policies, frameworks, and guidelines aligned with regulatory requirements and organizational strategy
  • Capture, create, and disseminate regulatory knowledge within the organization
  • Provide expert advice on regulatory decision-making practices to ensure compliance with organizational regulatory and risk strategies
  • Manage regulatory documents and platforms, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Foster strong engagement and communication with internal stakeholders to understand operational requirements and embed regulatory practices
  • Lead the implementation of regulatory policies and interpretations through collaborative practices that support innovation and adoption
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive enhancements to our regulatory effectiveness

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in regulatory policy development, interpretation, and implementation
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to provide concise advice and recommendations
  • Aptitude for risk-based and data-driven decision making
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build productive relationships with all levels of the organization
  • Sound organizational skills, including the ability to manage changes to requirements and priorities within tight timeframes
